Excited to share that the RESET Project (under Water4All 2024 Joint Transnational Call, Water for Circular Economy) officially kicked off on May 11th at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid! 🌍💧

After many online meetings, it was a pleasure to finally meet most of our partners in person and start this journey together.
RESET brings together an international and multidisciplinary team from Spain, Luxembourg (University of Luxembourg), Czech Republic (University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague), Austria (Universität Innsbruck), Germany (RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau), and Brazil (Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul) to tackle one of today’s biggest challenges: water security. The project focuses on advancing circular water management by developing innovative solutions for water reuse, nutrient recovery, and energy recovery from urban wastewater streams.
Through nature-based solutions, decentralized and centralized treatment approaches, and advanced modeling tools, RESET aims to support more resilient and sustainable water systems while reducing pressure on natural resources.

We are proud to support research institutes in developing a macro-level decision-making tool for nutrient recovery within water reuse strategies.

Alongside the kick-off meeting in Madrid, our Managing Director, Timo Christopher Dilly, had the privilege of moderating the Co-Design Session at the project event “Advances in Disinfection Practices for Safe Water Reuse.”

The session brought together experts across four key thematic areas:
• Water Reuse
• Disinfection
• Nutrient / Phosphorus Recovery
• Decision Support & Planning Software
