💧 Managing water extremes – building climate-resilient cities! 🌦️

Last week, our CEO attended the Conference on Urban Water Balance and Water Extremes at RPTU Kaiserslautern – and met only like-minded professionals dedicated to shaping a sustainable and resilient future for urban water management. 🤝

The conference highlighted a growing challenge for cities:

➡️ During heavy rainfall, enormous runoff volumes must be safely retained or redirected in confined urban spaces.

➡️ During droughts and heatwaves, green infrastructure requires reliable irrigation to survive.

Traditional rainwater management concepts are no longer enough — we need climate-resilient approaches that integrate both extremes. 🌍
The event presented the strategies of Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg for #waterconscious urban development, showcased current research insights, and shared real-world examples of innovative implementation.
