🌍 Climate adaptation starts now – and we’re here to support municipalities on the way!

This week, we took part in the 13th Annual Conference of the Energy Agency of Rhineland-Palatinate, which will soon be renamed the Agency for Climate Protection and Energy – a logical and necessary step in view of the accelerating climate crisis.

The event was opened by Katrin Eder, Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, and Mobility, who emphasized how crucial collaboration is for both climate protection and adaptation.

The keynote by Frank Böttcher made one thing crystal clear:

➡️ Current observations already exceed all previous worst-case climate scenarios.

➡️ By 2050, global temperatures could rise by up to 3 °C – with massive impacts on sea levels, water resources, and national security.

➡️ In Germany, we are seeing increasing heavy rainfall events, droughts, and erosion problems, while steady rainfall continues to decline.

It’s evident: Climate protection alone is no longer enough – adaptation is essential.

That’s where we come in:

💧 We help municipalities make their sewer networks climate-resilient and ready for future challenges.

A big thank you to the Energy Agency of Rhineland-Palatinate for hosting this inspiring event and fostering such valuable discussions!

Together, we shape a sustainable and resilient future. 🌱
