💧 Shaping the future of water management with AI 🤖

Today, we had the opportunity to present the objectives of the EU research project DECIRE-WATER Project at the Symposium on Artificial Intelligence in Water Management, organized by the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence [=Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI)] and co-hosted by the Ministry of the Environment of Rhineland-Palatinate. 🌍

We showed what algorithms can already do today – and how they accelerate the planning of supply and disposal networks.

🔹 DECIRE Water aims to transform water management through scalable, nature-based and technical solutions for resource recovery and the reuse of rainwater, gray water, domestic and agro-industrial wastewater.

🔹 Our team is responsible for software development, while the Department of Urban Water Management [SIWAWI@RPTU Kaiserslautern ] develops new algorithms for water supply networks and decentralized water infrastructures.
